Google Pagerank

PageRank : # - The higher the number the better the rank.

A websites pagerank correlates with how many other sites link to it. A higher pagerank should theoretically reflect a blend of how popular the site is, how long it has been around and how much effort the site puts into online marketing.

Since google is currently the leading search engine (though Yahoo and MSN are also great,) a healthy pagerank generally reflects a healthy website. You can think of pagerank as biceps. It doesn't mean its a stronger website, but it doesn't hurt. For example, Vsbingo.com is a great site, but unfortunately we have tiny bicceps. We're new. We are working on it, so don't be too fast to kick sand in our face!

If you would like to be able to view the Google pagerank of sites that you visit, you need to install the google toolbar. Besides showing pagerank for the sites that you visit, it also blocks popups (most, not all popups) defines words on the screen, spell checks form entries and more.
